Workshop: „In the moment“
We all get that little voice from time to time, that tells us “i’m just not feeling it today”, or “i won’t be able to do the next step”, or perhaps it tells you “go faster and i’ll get to my goal quicker”.
Whether it’s to do with rushing your way through goals/tasks or holding back on from them. It whispers in all of our ears throughout life, from getting chores done around the house to attempting something that challenges us. But when do we know it is giving us honest feedback that it really is just not the right time? When is it holding us back from breaking through a mental barrier? Or when is it distracting us from the process entirely?
What can we do to tame that voice? And how can we feel more comfortable sitting with the fact that it may just not be ‘your time’ in that moment?
Through my workshop, I hope to explore this part of our characters through our movement and work on different ways in which we can work with our fears/hesitations to make each moment a step towards our goal.
